Application of Grantees  
 


The Trust funds projects according to the following criteria:

  
 
     
Basic Funding Criteria :
     
  Fits with the objectives of the Trust.
  Is in line with the thematic areas of the Trust.
  Has a realistic budget
  Reputation and capability of grantee
     
Desirable Funding Criteria :
     
  Are either continuous program or a pilot project that can be extended if successful
  Avoids duplication of other peace building efforts
  Are innovative and creative
  Have an element ( possibly 20-30%) of organizational capacity building where necessary
  Demonstrate longer-term sustainability where appropriate
  Have a contribution from the organization either financially or in-kind contributions such as volunteer time, premises etc.
