Sheila Richards, Executive Director |

Sheila was appointed Executive Director of the Trust, in February 2007.
In her former job she was the National Program Officer at the Swedish International Development Co-operation Agency (SIDA) where she worked from February 2002 to January 2007. Much of her work involved dealing with issues of human security, human rights and conflict transformation. She also handled issues connected to the deteriorating humanitarian and political situation in Sri Lanka. |

Prior to that, from July 1998 to December 2001, she worked at ZOA Refugee Care, Sri Lanka, as Program Manager (Psychosocial).
She holds a B.A. (Hons. in Psychology - 1996) from the University of Peradeniya and has completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Conflict Resolution and Security Studies at the Bradford University, UK/Social Scientists Association, Peace Studies Programme in the year 2005.

Jesse who joined the Trust in April 2008 through the VSO (Volunteer Services Overseas), has over 6 years experience in the non-profit sector having held positions within a number of UK-based NGOs. Most recently he was the Senior Development Manager at Global Witness; an international human rights organisation investigating the links between natural resources, conflict and corruption.
Jesse holds a BA Hons. in History from Manchester Metropolitan University. |

Indrajith is an accounting professional with extensive experience in accounting, auditing and office management, both in Sri Lanka and overseas. He served as an Accountant, Financial Controller and Budget Controller in various companies of repute including Forbs Textiles, Daylan - a UK based buying office in Sri Lanka and Almari in Saudi Arabia.

Keren who joined NTT in December 2008, has over 6 years of experience in the not-for profit sector, in Sri Lanka as well as in India. She has worked in both national and international organisations in the areas of programme development, strategic planning, programme implementation and review. Prior to her engagement with NTT Keren was employed with Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO) Sri Lanka office, managing its disability program for over 4 years.
She has a Master Degree in International Development from the University of Bath, UK and a Bachelors Degree in Economics, Rural Development and Computer Applications from the School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya (affiliated to Mangalore University), Mangalore, India.

Chandrika has many years of administrative and office management experience; both in Sri Lanka and abroad in the not-for profit and private sectors. She worked for a national charity in Canada, Canadian Liver Foundation, as a fundraiser for 6 years and an insurance company, Independent Order of Foresters, as an administrator for 5 years.
A lawyer by profession, Chandrika holds a Bachelors Degree in Law from the University of Colombo.

Mangala joined the Trust in October 2007. She has over nine years experience in the NGO sector in Sri Lanka. She held the position of North East, Programme Co-coordinator at her former job at the National Peace Council where she worked for over 4 years.
Mangala is a lawyer by profession with a Bachelors Degree in Law from the University of Colombo. |

Majitha joined the Trust in June 2008. Prior to her joining the Trust she worked with Suriya Women’s Development Centre, Batticaloa which engaged mainly in the empowerment of women in conflict affected areas of the East of Sri Lanka.
An Attorney-at-law by profession, Majitha holds a Bachelors Degree in Law, from the University of Colombo. |

Sandaruwan joined the Trust in August 2007.
He is currently a student of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Sri Lanka and has completed the Intermediate Level examination of the Institute. He is a finalist of the Association of Accounting Technicians, Sri Lanka.
In addition to his accounting qualifications, he has also obtained certification in the use of ACCPACK, Quickbooks and Myobe computerized accounting packages.

Travis joined the Trust in the year 2004. His work experience includes over 10 years service in the hospitality sector.

Dhammika joined NTT in May 2006. Prior to her employment with the Trust she worked in the apparel industry for 4 years as a quality control assistant.
